Get With The Kids Vibe is excited to announce the launch of our low- to mid-level, SEND focused, multi-activity camps. Get With The Kids Vibe is dedicating experienced Sports Coaches and Activity Leaders across a number of our sites to deliver fun packed days for the kids over the holidays.

    Activities

Structured physical, sensory and enrichment activities to build confidence, develop life skills, encourage team work and leadership skills. Lots of arts and crafts and sporting activities will also feature throughout the camp.

    SEND Information

This club will be suitable for children who have mild to moderate needs, who are able to go to the toilet and will not require support with personal care, eat their lunch with correct supervision, but do not need direct support in doing so. This provision is suitable for children who do not present risky behaviours such as being of harm to themselves or to others.

Camps will be staffed by team members that have a passion for working with children. We have also recruited experienced personnel to support children with more complex needs. If you have a child with SEN, we encourage you to contact us about our SEND specific provisions of which there are three this summer. All staff are DBS cleared, first aid and safeguarding trained.

    To secure your place:

Email your child’s name, basic SEN information, school and your contact details, to info@getwiththekidsvibe.co.uk.

You will be contacted and provided with a code so you can proceed with booking a space.

    What the day may involve:

We would like to make parents aware that our Camp Days may combine crafts, team building activities and physical activity. The activities we provide are site dependent. Please therefore keep in mind that we do our level best to ensure to get the children on the Trampolines during our time at the Jump sites, but this is not guaranteed. As yet there has never been an occasion when we haven’t, but we want to make you aware that the Jump times will vary due to us sharing the space with members of the public.

Those that may have encountered our camps, bringing along their SEN child would have noticed that we give our little ones a “yellow band”, with their name on it. We refer to it as the Golden Ticket sometimes if they need a little more encouragement to pop it on.

In a continuous commitment to provide a “safe and secure space” for those that join us, each of our sites will have a calm corner; an area accessible to all children if they need to have their own space to regulate. Here they can have a pull, pop, squeeze, twist and pluck until they are ready to join the group again. Yellow Band + Yellow Box = Sunshine Kids ☀️.
